Suface Preparation
The surface must be free from loose particles and oils before application.
Wash thoroughly. If needed, use high-pressure water equipment to remove loose particles.
Wash with water using high-pressure equipment if needed to remove loose particles or wash thoroughly with fire hose
Clean until all loose rust and old paint has been removed.
If needed use powered or hand brush on difficult spots.
Clean the surface to remove dust, grease or general dirt, we recommend to use degreaser as a grease removal.
After preparation & before applying, make sure there is no water on the surface.
Applying CB300
Apply one thin layer of CB300, up to 50-70 microns wet, without overcoating. Make sure that the applied surface is not above 60 Degrees Celsius.
Topcoat
After the CB300 has been applied and dried, wait at least 1 hour before applying the mid coat and the top coat.
Please consult us about the type of mid coats and top coats recommended. The mid and top coat applications are according to the specific manufacturer’s instructions.
